END OF QUARTER 1!!! say what.....

I can't believe that Physics is ¼ the way done! It felt like we just started Physics two days ago… But we have learned so much! We started off learning about how physics connects to more than just science. Physics is everywhere!! We reviewed scientific notation, and pendulums. We also learned about how mass, length, and angle affect the period, or cycle, of a pendulum! In unit 2 we learned a lot about Kinematics, or the study of motion. We reviewed the distance equation (d=vt), but for me I totally forgot about it so… for me I learned the equation haha. We also learned the 3 rules of graphing and the differences between speed and velocity, and distance and displacement! The next part of Kinematics was translating the data into graphs! It was a lot of fun matching the graphs it was like a puzzle!!
In Unit 3 we learned about acceleration and learned the three equations of how to find numerous values, one values being acceleration itself. The second part of the acceleration unit included Galileo's theory of uniform acceleration!

This is a picture of Aleina, Jasmine, and I upside down! We thought it would be pretty cool. Considering the distance we need to cover from the floor to the wall we had to use more acceleration/ force when we pushed off in order to make it to the wall.

  1. I know I can't believe the quarter is up either! Thank god for getting a whole year of science out of the way! Wow I should have looked at your blog first! You were very concise in describing each unit. I think I went into a little too much detail. Great job!

  2. I really like how its short and easy to understand yet u still gave a really good summary of everything in quarter one! I can't believe we are 1/4 of the way done! I like how you made a random picture of us doing handstands sound physics related haha good job!

  3. Ooooh I like your picture! Good example! And your post is very brief, but still informational!

  4. Thanks! I tried to make it detailed but not too much because i didn't want to keep repeating stuff!
