Unit 2 (part 2): Graphing!

Today we worked on matching graphs. Our lab was to look at the graphs that we were given and we had to match them by following the patterns of position vs. time graphs and velocity vs. time graphs. At first the first couple of graphs were easy to copy but when we got to graph 1d and 1e our group started having trouble… Sometimes our detector would spaz out and we would have to restart the test or our person trying to match the data would go completely off. But I really did like this lab because it was fun watching everyone in the class run around in a way, while trying to match graphs. I also liked it because it was kind of a lab where we had to make our own decisions on how to complete it. I liked doing the Curious George exercise too. I thought that the story of the graph was cute and funny.
This is a picture of one of the graphs that we had to match. This particular graph was probably the best one that we did out of the five graphs we matched.
